Find the Problem Before You Choose the Treatment
Each guide covers what the condition is, why it may persist, when evaluation matters, and where SoftWave may — or may not — fit.
Direct answer
Which conditions is shockwave therapy used for?
Shockwave therapy has been studied most for chronic tendon and fascia conditions, including plantar fasciopathy, Achilles tendinopathy, calcific rotator cuff tendinitis and lateral hip tendon pain. Evidence differs considerably by condition, and some painful problems are not shockwave candidates at all. An evaluation determines which category yours falls into.
